Plasmacluster Ion Generators
Perfectly designed for smaller room sizes such as personal offices, desks, it's compact size makes it also ideal for home use. This filterless ionizer is excellent at removing up to 99% of airborne viruses & mould making the environment a more pleasant and healthier place to be.
Split Emission Structure
The split emission structure separates the air filter outlet into two parts. The highly engineered ionizer emits Plasmacluster ions into the air more efficiently by ensuring the positive and negative ions do not collide and are therefore distributed evenly into the atmosphere.

The target floor surface area for which an emitted airborne ion density of about 25,000 ions/cm3 can be measured at around the centre of the room (at height of approx. 1.2m from the floor), during operation at the HIGH airstream setting when IG-A40/A20/A10 is placed near the wall. ‡ Ion count per cm3 blown into the air at around the centre of the room (at a height of approx. 1.2m from the floor) during operation at each airstream setting when IG A40/A20/A10 is placed near the wall.
The number of ions will vary according to the room conditions and the IG-A40/A20/A10 operation mode.
While IG A40/A20/A10 can inactivate suspended viruses and other contaminants, it cannot create a completely sterile environment. Sharp does not guarantee its ability to prevent microbial infection.
The Plasmacluster ion generating units will need to be replaced periodically to enable continuous stable emission of high-density Plasmacluster ions. After approximately 17,500 hours, roughly 2 years when operated continuously for 24 hours a day, an indicator lamp will flash advising that the Plasmacluster ion-generating unit needs to be replaced. The unit will stop operating after about 19,000 hours (2 years and 2 months) if the Plasmacluster ion generator is not replaced. The Plasmacluster ion generating unit may need to be replaced sooner when used in some environments or locations (such as locations of suspended cooking oil droplets or other oil components, dusty or humid locations, or locations where sprays or chemicals are used).

Wide louvre for high output
The specially engineered wide louvers enable this filterless ionizer to efficiently release high density levels of Plasmacluster ions across a wide area. Both ion generators are simple to operate with the easy one touch operation.
By simply pressing the operation button the Plasmacluster ion generators immediately starts the emission of high density Plasmacluster Ions. The airstream can then be increased if required to (HIGH mode) to boost the sterilising capacity.
