Where people gather together in an indoor environment the chance of spreading germs and viruses becomes more likely. Nowhere is this more apparent than in doctor's surgeries where there is a higher risk of exposure to germs and viruses in both waiting areas as well as in individual surgeries.
Personal hygiene measures, washing hands and using hand sterilisation solutions, are vital in protecting against the spread of surface viruses, as is the use of surface cleaners and disinfectant products, but they can not offer protection against the increasing levels of airborne contaminants.
